  5. hey Aggr3 it would be great if you can use the tweakfile name, so i can locate what file that works best this seems to be best overall MTU 1500 2nd test upload 68....76.....72 donwload 979....1735....993 and this seem very stable MTU 1460 2nd file upload ran 72....74...76 download 995...995..993 also use the 2992 KB test, that give the most accurate reading VanBuren

  11. also my user host is off in that top 100 list 6 VanBuren 7067 Kbps or 863 KB/s 789 113.75 113.75 should be bredbandsbolaget.se unless i changed ISP and didnt know it Edit: i think CA3LE is aware of the problems with that list just look at this one 1 Ron 27752 Kbps or 3388 KB/s 34 direcpc.com DW owns VanBuren

  13. try this, open cablenut with 4400 600 file loaded, change TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize from 64240 to 128480 also change Tcp13230pts from 0 to 1 click save to registry and reboot VanBuren
  14. That was news to me, i dont go around and ping ppl, it seem strage if this is true..... btw i forgot to add, its not only SP2 firewall that block pings, its also windows xp default Firewall.... VanBuren
  15. im glad the tweaks improved the speed for you but you should be able to go even faster, your not close to 4 Mbps.... also test this file and compare, if its faster VanBuren
  16. windows allow ICMP traffic unless you using SP2 firewall and use default setup.... VanBuren
  17. when you upload at full speed, your latency increase and if you start downloading, its hard for you to send acknowledge packets to the sender that you received the packet i suggest you download netlimiter, and set your maximal upload speed to 90% of your cap www.netlimiter.com then your download will speed up abit, but Cable is also half duplex and that means you cant send and receive at the very same time.   22. this is what i mean, it was not Nitro test, i was wrong it was same tweaktester as you used now, but this time you have this results.... MSS requested: 1460 Max packet sent (MTU): 1500 Max packet recd (MTU): 1500 so, you have been using the wrong MTU.... do like this.. open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry now all fields suppose to be blank reboot your pc and make a new tweaktest and post result URL VanBuren
  23. what file have you used? Thats not the settings i provided, you need to click on "* DSL PPPoE 4000 600.zip (0.23 KB - downloaded 0 times.)" on a previous post i made. Also in that Nitro speedtest, says you have a MSS of 1452, and this tweaktester says you have 1460 VanBuren
