  2. if your speed is faster then 6 Mbps on 2992 KB test you get forwarded to 5983 KB test, if you score faster then 8 Mbps on that you will get forward to 12160 KB test. this forwarding is made to reduce the traffic on server and also make the test more accurate i think the forwarding rates are right, if not please correct me VanBuren

  18. i only have one pc, directly connected to the ISP switch, if you use a router and have a LAN at the home, then force 100 Mbps full. If you only have one PC connected to the modem, use half duplex for Cable, and link speed depend on the modem port, i suggest to start with 10 Mbps half duplex and then compare with 100 Half duplex. If you have dsl, try both half and full, some dsl connections is full duplex VanBuren
  19. hey Steffo and welcome to the forum follow these steps https://testmy.net/topic-2097 and make a new thread in "Make it faster" forum VanBuren
  20. hes using a USB adapter, dont know if its possible to change duplex mode in that anyways "Auto" works very bad for alot of network cards i tested 3 diffrent NIC
  21. The connection stalled 1 times due to packet loss thats not a goood thing Increasing the current receive buffer (15.0 KB) will improve performance*******************???**************************** i think the test read the settings at the NOC, and not from your pc VanBuren
  22. disable your firewall and run this http://www.network-tools.com/default.asp?prog=trace&Netnic=whois.arin.net&host=82.80.12.196 copy all text and paste it here so we can see it VanBuren
  23. That explains it lol, same problem when my server is offline... VanBuren
  24. then dont worry about it, you have good speed for USB, the test is not very accurate with duplex mode, i run my NIC full duplex and its reporting half duplex if i use AFD tweaks ( DefaultReceive Window and Default Send window ) VanBuren
  25. no problem, keep visiting and tell your friends about this site good luck VanBuren
