  4. thats great, no loss but, the tweaktest said you droped 1000 byte packets and i forgot how to change the default size of 32 byte on that ping tool if anyone know how, please help the linequality test will test 1000 byte packets on your route so you will see where you loose em. VanBuren

  7. you never know, before you try tweaking, but a guess is around 5.5 Mbps Uncapping modems is illegal and i strongly advice NOT to do it......... thats stealing bandwidth and you can get sued for big bucks Tweaking your windows registry is NOT illegal and i advice ppl to do it if you cant reach 90% of the advertised speed VanBuren

  10. they probl was forced to add more fiber to be able to feed your residential area with the High speed Cable i have fiber optics to my house, fiber converter and switch in the basement, its just a matter of time when all have it to their homes. VanBuren

  14. you retransmit packets, lets see if we can fix that by lowering your RWIN, if not, you need to run a linequality test i modifyed the file, so download this one and overwrite the old one. after that run a new speedtest with 1496 KB test and also a new tweaktest VanBuren

  16. there will always be someone faster you can tweak it even more and get more burst speed, but that can cause other problems you now get 96 % of advertised speed down, add 10 % TCP overhead and you are above the cap VanBuren
  17. download this file i attach and unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry in top left corner click file, click load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubble click on the file you unzipped now you see new values in adjuster, click save to registry and reboot your pc VanBuren

What tweakprograms you already got installed, and run this test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks copy and paste result URL adress in your post! 4. What speed do you have against www.testmy.net and http://nitro.ucsc.edu/ also make a tracert, go to start-run type command and hit enter, type tracert testmy.net and hit enter, right click copy all and paste it in your post.   20. yea, now you get what you pay for with 1492 KB test, you just need little lag and score is off, with 2992 KB test its not affected that much, give a more accurate reading VanBuren

  23. hey risky try this download and install cablenut https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 download this attached file and unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner, click file, click load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubble click on the file you unzipped now you have some values in adjuster, click save to registry and reboot your pc. make a new tweaktest and post URL adress, also make speedtest good luck VanBuren
  24. If you have DW 4000, try all the DW4000 files and compare and same goes for DW6000 users, try all DW 6000 files i builded them diffrent, and if i see a pattern, i will work from that VanBuren
