  10. if you have a router, i suggest 100 Mbps full beqause you dont want a 10 Mbps LAN transfer between your pc

  14. do you have a router? If so, by pass it and connect direct to modem check speed again and make a new linequality test VanBuren

  18. from that NIC you connect to a modem, how long wire do you have between your pc and modem? Also if you have dsl, make sure you have the modem connected to the main phonejacket and use as short extension wire possible to your modem. VanBuren

  20. do you have a router arlechinu? if so bypass it and connect your NIC direct to modem also update your NIC driver now make a new traceroute VanBuren
  21. i pinged all those nodes and its no packetloss for me now..... 8 23 ms 23 ms 24 ms 195.39.208.122 9 167 ms 145 ms * de-cix.fra.above.net [80.81.192.226] 10 1042 ms 879 ms 833 ms so-0-0-0.cr2.fra1.de.mfnx.net [208.184.102.142] there is a routing issue between your ISP and node 9 and 10 and that is something your ISP should be aware of... make a new traceroute now and lets see if it changed VanBuren

  23. Set your NIC duplex mode to " vi) Force 10 Half Duplex" for Cable, for DSL it depend on the ISP service unless you are using a router, if so then set it to "vii) Force 100 Full Duplex" for both Cable & DSL VanBuren
