  2. hey iloveny161 what upload speed do you get here? Use the 1496 KB test I dont think you will go much faster down, your already at 91% of your cap, then add approx 10 % TCP overhead and your at 101 % VanBuren

  5. use 10 baseT if you connect your PC direct to the modem if you have a router, use 100 base tx full duplex VanBuren
  6. Connect your modem via ethernet (NIC) and make sure you have the latest drivers for your NIC. Set your NIC duplex mode to 10mb half duplex for Cable, for DSL it depend on the ISP service unless you are using a router, if so then set it to 100mb full duplex for both Cable & DSL.   10. test speed against other testservers aswell, route is fine, but it can be a issue in the planet network that dosent show up in traceroute I get crappy speed now aswell and route is not bad.... VanBuren

  14. sign up here and make a linequality test http://www.dslreports.com/tools disable firewall during test, or config it to allow ICMP traffic "Line Packet Loss Testing Packet loss tests on your line, including identification of any problem routers en-route to you.." its free when you see result, copy URL adress and paste it here so we can see it VanBuren

  22. try this file unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut and load it from adjuster, after that click save to registry and reboot make a new speed and tweaktest VanBuren

  24. do you have a cap both upstream and downstream of 64 Kbps? try this open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry now reboot your pc do a new tweaktest, and post result VanBuren
