  3. download and install cablenut https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 download this attached file (98 & ME Cable_DSL 1500+.zip) and unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster click delete cablenut tweaks, now all fileds must be blank click save to registry now go to top left corner, click file, click load custom settings file browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubble click on 98 & ME Cable_DSL 1500+.ccs now you have a few values set in adjuster, click save to registry and reboot your pc make new speedtests good luck VanBuren
  4. what speed do you get now when forced 100 Mbps full? VanBuren
  5. this is a routing issue, the speed is there, but you score bad just on some servers the tweakfile dosent change, so if you pulled 6.2 Mbps before, the tweakfile has the right settings i would call my ISP and complain VanBuren
  6. yea packetloss and alot of nodes kill the speed do a new pathping to testmy.net and lets see if it changed VanBuren
  7. try forcing your NIC to 100 Mbps full duplex against your router VanBuren

  14. that didnt look very good, disable your firewall during test and make a new one, so we can see the loss against your pc VanBuren
  15. try this, open cablenut, change TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize to 128480 click save to registry and reboot test again VanBuren
  16. trace looks good, choose 2 servers from this list and compare to what you get against testmy.net http://www.dslreports.com/stest?more=1 VanBuren

  19. make a traceroute to 167.206.5.41 VanBuren
  20. download this file, read speed at around 70 % completed ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/pub/test64 VanBuren
  21. run this test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks when you see result, copy whole URL adress and paste it here so we can see it VanBuren
  22. some is faster with IE and some is faster with FF its hard to tell why, but score you get is "real" and i suggest you to stick to FF when it was so much faster VanBuren
  23. your ISP probl block ICMP traffic try this open cablenut, change TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize from 1460 to 2920 click save to registry and reboot your pc VanBuren
