  1. Heya mbrainerd you uninstalled it too fast, i havent finetuned anything yet..... its impossible to make the perfect file that fit all connections without some tuning. I suggest you re-install cablenut so i can help you VanBuren btw Cablenut is the only tweakprogram that can boost your upload

  4. heyas mbrainerd download and install cablenut 4.08 https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 download the attached file, unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner you see file, click load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubbleclick on Cable & DSL 2048 1024.ccs now you have some values set in adjuster, click save to registry and reboot your pc, also reboot your modem and router make speedtest and post a new tweaktest result good luck VanBuren

  7. have you used any other tweakprogram in the past? download Dr.TCP http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe make sure it looks exactly like this screenshot, all MTU fields has to be blank, and click save now open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry and reboot make a new tweaktest and post result, dont use any router when doing this VanBuren

  9. after SP2 is installed: load the file i made for you, click save to registry and reboot, reboot your modem and router aswell now make a new tweaktest and copy result URL adress and paste it here, also post speed scores. VanBuren
  10. if you have a sp2 cd its even better, but if not, use windows update VanBuren
  11. heya Mayhem did you use router while running tweaktest? it might be a MTU issue with your router this is from your tweaktest:Max packet sent (MTU): 1500 Max packet recd (MTU): 1300 Both suppose to be 1500 unplug router, reboot your modem for 30 seconds and reboot pc aswell then make a new tweaktest, and post result VanBuren

  14. open cablenut adjuster click delete cablenut tweaks + save to registry and reboot now upgrade your windows XP to SP2, use windows update when its done, reload the tweak file and click save to registry and reboot good luck VanBuren

  16. thanks, somehow your ISP dosent read the AFD parameters ( DefaultReciveWindow and Default Send window ) have you tested to reboot modem and router? also make a test here and copy all text you find and paste it here http://nitro.ucsc.edu/ VanBuren

  19. He has already rebooted the modem several times, atleast i told him to https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=1725.msg17997#msg17997 the issue is only seen on your dsl connection, cable works perfect without rebooting modem, thats why i dont tell every one to reboot the modem VanBuren

  25. hey Mayhem and welcome to the forum it might be a router issue, unplug router and connect direct from PC to modem, reboot your pc and modem leave modem off for 30 seconds and test speed again if you still have speed problems, follow these steps in link below and make a new post https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=605.0 VanBuren
