  1. it should be a pretty easy thing to change http://www.nettonet.com/support/docs/240-0000038_r03 quote "Addition of a line buffer configuration option for which the choices are Interleave (default) or Fast Buffer. Fast Buffer delivers data faster and with less latency than Interleave, though it is not as tolerant to line errors. Interleave includes settable Correction and Delay parameters (in milliseconds) for both the upstream and downstream directions on the ADSL line and will display the depth achieved at current settings." http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps298/products_feature_guide09186a00800a9319.html Email these links to your ISP, they should be able to find out how to do VanBuren

  8. you both probl have diffrent network cards, in auto sense, also the modem can have a 10 Mbps port for you and a 100 mbps port for your friend if you rightclick on your Local area network and choose properties it looks like this i have a Swedish version... if you like a status icon as your friend, check the box where it says "Visa Ikon ......... " if you like to use 100 Mbps as your friend, you need to force it in your Network card then click "Konfigurera" and it looks like this, if you connect direct to a router, set it to 100 Mbps full duplex, if you connect to a modem use auto... Cablenut is the greatest tool but since i dont have all types of connections at home its impossible to make all files perfect, but some of them are very close, some finetuning can be needed. VanBuren
