  6. try this, after that run tweaktester, and if you have re transmissions then lower TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize by 1460 each step if you dont have re transmissions, increase them instead in steps of 1460 until you reach the braking point where you start getting re transmissoins VanBuren
  7. I made a HUGE change in the DSL files in version 3 of my tweaks alot of DSL users has not seen same boost in speed as Cable and i dont think they will however the new files is more based on windows default settings and should work better overall.... https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=505 backup the current file you using now, and try out the new files. report back how they work for ya. and when testing speed use atleast 2992 KB test downstream and 1492 KB test upstream good luck VanBuren
  8. nice VanBuren
  9. yea you can try increase TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize use this calculator so you get MSS multiple with TcpWindowsize MSS = 1460 Bandwidth = 2048 Kbps = 2048 / 8 = 256 Latency = try 100 to 200 ms http://www.dslnuts.com/bitsbytes.shtml VanBuren
  10. no problem atleast now we know that it wont get faster then this VanBuren
  11. looking good now, Retransmitted data packets: 0 i dont think you can get faster down, cos then you start re transmit packets but you can try to finetune Default Send Window its 16384 now add 8192 each time, so next value you can test with is 24576 and next 32768 and so on, untill you get 90 % of 1024 Kbps = 0,9 x 1024 = 921 Kbps good luck VanBuren
  12. its basicly windows default values.... make a tweaktest and post it VanBuren

  23. I hacked the test script, and can now choose the speed i want not really, as you know my cap is 10 Mbps, and i score around 9 Mbps against several US servers... CA3LE has now tweaked hes server so the latency has less impact on score, larger TCP buffers that make the tests more accurate https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=1892.0 VanBuren
  24. mouse is from win XP plus! theme space VanBuren
