  1. Nice scores I would say its a normal score overseas, i been dl in 1 MB/s almost whole day, when i now ping Arizona State University it shows 198 ms will check later but i dont think it will change much. Strange thing is alot of ppl in the US cant get any speed fom my server and not to forget RTB, he dl faster overseas then from me, but it has been some routing issues between our ISP
  2. i use DC++ only, i tryed alot of other p2p programs but i like this best. these is my fav hubs maximumspeed10mbit.no-ip.org maximumspeed-bbb.no-ip.org bbb.ancient.se fenix.dnsalias.net alliance10mbit.myftp.org 10-1.lightnetwork.org thehubness.no-ip.org:1090 (.s1 hub) 2 of the hubs i use to connect to is 10 Mbit only, so all has to have atleast 10 Mbps upstream aswell. mainly Swedish hubs, but lately i connect to .s1 hub aswell. 3. I dont think there is any way to search all hubs at same time I think its good with a 15 GB limit, a hub with 1000 users then has 15 000 GB of data to download. and you can connect to several hubs at same time, alot of hubs require you to have 3 uploadslots (so that 3 users can dl from you), i total shate 9 slots that makes it possible to join atleast 3 hubs. that give you atleast this 3 x 15000 = 45 000 GB of data to choose from. 4. Its not a BT client, try it out here http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/ its a big chatroom and you can do global search for files on every user in the hub, or you can download file list for a specific user. VanBuren
  5. Maybe you can delete some ppl from your list after this upgrade? http://www.itpronto.com/content/101/347.html VanBuren

  8. RTB I forgot i use the "classic desktop style" but if you go here.. * Open Control Panel. * Double-click Network and Dial-up Connections. * Identify the icon for your cable modem connection: usually Local Area Connection. you will find your LAN. also i recommended him to use 100 Mbit full duplex, cos he probl on LAN and do not connect to a cablemodem at hes college. I quoted how to set the duplex mode, not what he suppose to use i had already stated that. Edit: I found the correct name in English, its "My Network Places" not "My Computer" VanBuren
  9. hey LordTerror and welcome to the forum Im almost sure its a Hardware problem with your Network card or your Network cable. But try updating to the latest drivers and also try disable QoS packet scheduler. to do that, on your desktop right click on my network (or something like that, i got a swedish version so its other names) choose properties. right click on your local area network and choose properties, uncheck QoS Packet Sheduler and click ok. you can also set duplex mode manual, sometimes autosense dosent work at all, set it to 100 Mbit full duplex. quote from www.dslnuts.com "HOW TO SET THE PROPER NIC DUPLEX SETTINGS: Windows 2000 or XP: to change to half-duplex: * Open Control Panel. * Double-click Network and Dial-up Connections. * Identify the icon for your cable modem connection: usually Local Area Connection. * Right-click that icon and select Properties. * Under the ethernet adapter icon, click the button Configure. * Click the tab Advanced to bring it to the front: * In the Property box, the property name to be selected varies according to model of ethernet card. Examples are: Network Link Selection, Media Type, Connection Type, Duplex Mode, or any similarly-named property which can have Values looking like Auto-Negotiation, or 10BT, or 10BaseT. * In the Value box, select a value which either (a) explicitly says half-duplex or semi-duplex, or ( at least does not say full-duplex [e.g. 10BaseT on its own is OK]. If there is a choice between 10 and 100 with half-duplex, choose the 10. Do not choose 10Base5, 10Base2, or AUI. * Click OK to exit the Adapter settings. * Click OK to exit the Connection properties." good luck VanBuren

  11. Ping to your 1st hop is way too high, on adsl it should not be more then 15 ms with no load (no download or upload running). try rebooting your modem, wait 30 seconds when you plugged power out before you plug it in again. that helped last time as i recall. If this dosent help, call your Internet Service Provider, and let them check signals and so on. good luck VanBuren
