i pay 75,26 USD / month VanBuren -
with the TCP protocol you get problems like this i suggest you download www.netlimiter.com and set uploadrate at 90% of your cap, that should help your downloadspeed alot when your uploading at same time. there is no way to hit cap both upstream and downstream at the very same time, even if you have full duplex, that is limited by the way TCP protocol is built. Settings Update 6000/700 [Not Sure Though]
VanBuren replied to hoodlegend's topic in Make it Faster...
might be a problem in the route, try these mirrors aswell https://testmy.net/mirrors.php and use the largest testfiles Edit: also make sure your pingable during linequality test VanBuren -
you can run a TCP analyzer like these http://forums.speedguide.net:8117/ http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks MSS= MTU-40 some routers do mess up your MTU so the analyzer will show wrong MTU, but for Cable and LAN MTU is 1500 for almost all, and that gives a MSS of 1460 for DSL MTU is usally 1492 but sometimes 1500 aswell, that depends on ISP
-
go to this path VanBurens_cablenut_settings_version_7_ALL_WIN_OS_AND_SATSatellite then choose the MTU folder, you can try 1500 first and then dubbleclick on the plan you pay for, now click save to registry in cablenut and reboot your PC you can also try the MTU 1460 folder and do the same thing VanBuren
