Don't worry about you percentage of your host's average speeds, it's 90% of your advertised speed you want to get. 90% of your advertised speed would be 1350 Kbps download and 346 Kbps upload. Don't worry about it though, from what I've seen, it's hard to get to 90% of your advertised speeds with SBC unless you're right next to the station.

Yeah you're 388 Kbps above your cap, I'd say that's pretty good. I can barely even get to my cap.

Are you on the 4/384 plan or the 6/768?

I think that's the IP address for most routers, not just linksys, I don't think you're bypassing your router.

Yeah, cablenut did not work for me either, it slowed my connection down a lot. My ISP recently upgraded me to 3000/256. When I still had 2048/128, I always got 1995-2005 Kbps down and 125-129 Kbps up. I installed cablenut and used the 2000/128 settings and it slowed me down to about 1750 down and 118 up. I kept the cablenut tweaks for a few more days just to make sure it wasn't some wierd problem with my ISP, I still kept getting the same results. So I removed the cablenut tweaks and rebooted my computer and my speeds were back to normal. I could try tweaking with my new speeds, but I'm satisfied with what I've got and I don't want to mess it up.

Well, that's still a pretty good speed for a 512 Kbps cap, it's out of the ordinary to get speeds above your upload cap.

I have a D-link DI-524 wireless router, here is a ping test from the kitchen wired computer to the wireless computer in my room.
