Well, I have my own computer too, but..... 1) I have connect it to our network wirelessly. 2) I can't use it when my stepdad's home, he said he didn't want me to have internet in my room, but my mom let's me use it, I guess she's pretty cool. But she still put norton internet security on our computer and it sucks.

Yeah, you're right, I didn't like it. If I did that, she'd probably never let me get on this computer again. I'm going to try to get my neighbor to convince her to uninstall it, she trusts him, and he and I are cool like that.

If I told her that she wouldn't believe me, she doesn't trust me with the computer. What's your idea elite?

Just yesterday my mom upgraded our norton antivirus to the full norton internet security, and even with everything turned off it's still slowing me down. With the security turned on it won't even it won't even let me test. I've tried convincing her to take it off our computer but she's a noob (yes I did just call my mom a noob) and doesn't care about what I say. We already had 2 firewalls, 2 spyware/adware scanners, and the regular norton antivirus, why do we need more than that? Any help? Anything I can say to convince her to take it off our computer? Hahahaha your school is leet. I personally haven't tested my school's connection because we are only allowed to use the library computers for school work. But my friend tested my school's connection speed a while back and it was pretty crappy, like 225 Kbps both ways. (He was in computer applications, it's a move at your own pace kind of class, he got done with all 3 computer apps. classes in less than a year so he got to surf the web for the remainder of the time.)
