XP can run very smooth... especially if tweaked properly... i have a copy running on a 800MHz PIII w/ 128MB of ram... i hardly did anything to tweak it and it runs fine...

first of all, use the 579KB test or larger...

i dont think the upload test is very accurate over speeds of 5Mbps...

try it again... the limit was raised recently... try mirrors too... i wanna see a speed that high thats real

not sure about 2000, but in XP, right click on My Computer, click Manage, expand the System Tools group, expand Local Users and Groups, click on the Users Folder, double click on the user you want to edit, check the Password never expires box, click ok. you must be logged on as an administrator to do this.

wow... its the same with my system. as soon as the signal is locked, the lights blink... sometimes even before wen its getting attempting to lock on a signal... maybe its supposed to do that

i think 30KB/s is your actual download speed... 200KB/s is just a good burst... my record burst speed was about 15MB/s for 2 seconds. (yes, i downloaded 30MB in 2 seconds) then it dropped to a semi-typical 80KB/s or so... DW6000 btw...
