  4. if you have windows xp, click start-run-type cmd-press ok, type ping testmy.net... or: Tracert and Ping program (made by PHP ) https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=3341.0;id=1352 and click on autocheck.bat, when its done, just right click and paste all the result in your post.

    if he has a good hard drive mirroring program, winxp should run on the new drive after its copied

    or you could put the new hard drive in your computer and use it as a second hard drive temporarily to copy the files, that would be much quicker

  16. You should always test with the largest file size, its more accurate... quite good speed though My record speed was 1101Kbps (with 2992KB file)
  17. could it be? yes... should it be? definitely not... are you by any other electronic devices? also, do you have any 2.4GHz wireless phones? do you know what speed you have the router set at max?
  18. try directly connecting to your modem with a ethernet cable
