  1. You can try and tweek your connection with cablenut and see if it makes your dl faster. You might get lucky and get some more speed. It can't hurt just back up your registry before you tweek in case something you do slows you down. Overall you have a fast connection for your advertised speed, most people only get 80-90% of their advertised speed. I would tweek your settings cause you just never know, but thats just me, tweek freak No unfortunately there is nothing you to do to speed up your upload

  17. Ok heres the deal, my boss wants me to build him a computer. I told him I don't know much but he insisted so..... This comp has to stay under the $600.00 mark, and that is for the complete system. He also wants to go with the Barton 2500+ if possible. I found a good package deal at NCIX for this, it is Barton 2500+ with SOLTEK 75FRN2-L NFORCE2 for $221.54cdn. I would like to stick with what NCIX carries so the memory can't be crucial. I cannot seem to stay under $600, all the little stuff kills me. Can you guys help me come up with a complete system for under $600 based on the athlon 2500+ ? The only things it is gonna be used for is a little surfing, doing bills and some music. If you don't think it is possible to stay under $600 based on the 2500+ than it can be changed to something cheaper as long as it is one of the Athlons. Your Help Is Appreciated Oh yeah this price doesn't include monitor.

Welcome to the forum Yeah that tweek teter at DSL Reports is not good to go by for your RWIN. Try this calculator, it explains what the values mean just by clicking help. If you do this you should find your optimal RWIN. My RWIN is set at 64,240 this value seems to work well for a lot of people, give it a try. Link to calculator: http://www.dslnuts.com/bitsbytes.shtml Hope this helps

This is what I have done so far I have ovreclocked my rig from 550 MHz to 770 MHz. I am having no heat problems because I added the 2 antec fans from my new case i ordered for the Pimputer. And I have not had to up cpu core voltage yet. This thing is flying I will post some scores from PCmark 2002 so you can see what a difference it has made so far. Oh I also tightened up my timings from 3,2,2,10 to 2,2,2,8 PC mark 2002 scores CPU at 550 MHz CPU:1524 MEM:1080 HD:211 CPU at 770 MHz CPU:2139 MEM:1453 HD:244 My BIOS only has one higher setting for my FSB, I will try it as soon as I'm sure that I am stable at 770 MHz.
