I actually have the option in my Surfboard modem screen (192.168.100.1) to reboot, and it does it in the internet window! it's pretty strange!!!! i don't even have to turn the pc off. cool! :D later guys indestructable

did that work at all? i haven't actually tried it myself in XP, only in 98SE, but here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 maybe a little advanced, but that was basicly what I was trying to do. It boots your laptop into dos, so that you can manually restore the registry....don't be afraid of doing this btw, I did it countless times on my win 98SE machine! i had to! take it easy! indestructable

I alreadd did, that's the 3mb one, it has the Gloabal setting changed, but nothing sped up. I don't have anything else installed, I don't think...I'll check.

Hey guys. ok, so i recently embarked on a redesign for my website, kidsmoke kovers, and used css to position the stuff, etc... the redesign is at http://lemonaid.250free.com/redesign ...my problem is that when go into Firefox, all that shows up is the content, not the "top" (logo), or the menu. this is obviously just a browser issue...works fine in IE... any help from you knowledgeable dudes would be great. here's a screenshot:

first of all, what was the last thing you did? an what os are you on? the reason I say this is because there may be a registry problem. try restoring the registry: restart your pc right as the cpu turns back on, you want to hold ctrl till the menu comes up. go down to command prompt only and press enter type scanreg restore select from a day ago. when you get back to that black screen with white text, type win, press enter then press y your pc will restart

well, yes, I know, but...speed, ya know? I realy like speed. hehe. I can't even get above 3 mbps now, and I used to be at 3.2 regularly with a couple tweaks.granted at the moment I have no tweaks in use hehe later indestuctable
