ok well in IE6 there is a option for "block all 3rd part ads" (im pertty sure thats what it is called) and it will block that ad for you. here is the hard part i do not remember were it is in IE its barried in there somewere, and i have IE7 here and the option is not in IE7 as far as i know.
oh ok a university makes it a little different. try this <a href="http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/d_load.php?&st=st&tt=1&ta=1&top=000-2&out_src=20MB">test</a>
i know what one your talking about, it is kinda annoying.
all you need is a simple ad blocker you can get them for firefox here https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ i don't use any so i don't know which one is good.
ok this one has been bothering me most of the day, i have a photoshop document and i need to resize it but when ever i go to resize it from 2000x2000 to 4000x4000 insted of keeping it in a 4:3 format it goes to a 16:9 wirescreen format and everything gets streached out. and i can not figure out why its doing this ive never had this happen before. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? i need to avoid having to recreate a whole new one since it took me 3 weeks to create this.

like tommie said run a speed test, try this one http://www.testmy.net/dl-2992 and post your results.
have you tried any tweaking yet?
try both these test mirros, and clear your cache before you test each time. and then post your results

nascartrekkie3 welcome to the forum.
The only thing you really could do is trya nd tweak a little bit using tcp optimazer, your connection is were it is suppose to be.
it has alot to do with ping time, as well as the # of hops. The higher your ping times and the more hops you have the slower your speed test will be.
and since you are testing from india your going to have a slow result because you have to go across the pacific ocean.
