yep, its just because your too far away from the server to get an accurate result, if netmeter is telling you that your download is at 50kb/s then you are good that is about 400kbps.

nikoy welcome to the forum. the reason your speed test results are so much slower then what your netmeter says is because your are going a very long distance to the test server. Run a trace route to testmy.net and post your results.

bosanac do you have UNPN on or off? it can also just be the torrent it may not have very many seeds.
