What kid of processor do you have? and how much ram? Also why are you playing games in emulation? Or is it like a console video game that you are using an emulator to play? There is no internal hard drive fan, your probably hearing your CPU fan speed up.

If you have never opened one you would be surprised the cooling is actually really good. The fan in side is no joke its about 3 times bigger then a standard laptop and build really well. There is plenty of room for air flow, and it is actually channeled to pull air from the bottom on all 4 sides then over everything and out the back. I used a program to control the fan speed and it can go to 5600rpm no problem, at 3000rpm i can still barely hear it. 5600rpm and it sounds like a standard desktop. normal is 1500rpm and you don't here it at all. at 1500rpm it runs about 47c-58c depending on what you are doing so heat wont be a problem.

I came accost a brand new mac mini about a week ago for a very low price And ive been thinking of upgrading this thing so today i was on newegg and just bought some parts for it. I'll take pictures of the install tommarow when i get all the parts, and let you all know how much faster it is.

Nope, that one was the wrost ive ever seen. You turn on the computer and walk away fro 5 minutes and when you came back the whole screen would be covered in pop up's. I just ended up formatting the computer because that is the only real way to get rid of it all.

That really isnt that much. Ive worked on some computers that ive built for people that they had for less then a week and they had over 10,000 pieces of spyware/adware. That is the most ive seen. But yea porn will do it. If they were smart they would buy a mac or get a cheap linux computer so they could look at all the porn they want and never have a problem.

I havent had any problems with VPN's in vista and i use one just about 24/7. If you turn off use default gateway in the settings it works with out a problem.

try using TCP optimazer real qucik. do you have a firewall/router and what modem do you have?

Its really only 3 guys, the jack man and 2 tire changers. And i don't care what any one says it takes alot of skill to change 4 tires in 14 seconds.

you would be very surprised at how athletic you have to be to drive in nascar. Not to mention you have to be damn smart and quick, its not football, with one small wrong move you could kill someone. And nascar is so much better in person. Ive been to basketball and football games and nascar is far better.

You will not be able to do that. You would need a cd-key and you don't have one that will work on laptop.

I tend to get lazy at times and do the same Then ill pay my rent in cash like i did the other day which is wrong on so many levels.

I never really found anything that makes much of a difference. But the mac does have a better and smarter IP stack then every other OS so i really didn't need to tweak once i had my router set up correctly.

Thats total BS. they use windows because Microsoft suppled them with everything for free. No one who knows anything about a server would choose windows over Linux for reliability. Linux is far more reliable then windows and is more secure then windows will ever be.

Linux has really always been a pain to switch too. Its just easy for 99% of people. Apple has made it really easy to switch and the linux people should really follow them.

it will help, ive got 3GB at home, and 4GB at work, and i do notice a difference, So if you can afford it go for it.

If your going to have vista the more the better. Vista with use all the avaiable ram and the more you have the faster it will be.
