ALL the Verizon routers have NAT, BUT I'm assuming you mean the new Westell Versalink (4 port wired router + wireless + DSL modem all in one). That has the NAT firewall, PLUS the software firewall in it, which causes problems since its ultra-buggy (there are TONS of posts on dslreports about this)

My speed always shows up as 2.6-2.8Mbps on the 3M test, but the 12M test I get: :::.. OK, Ive noticed TONS of you have those crappy stardock things, etc. Those waste RAM, and slow down the system... INSTEAD, just get: http://fishnet.no-ip.org:81/downloads/UXTheme%20Multi-Patcher%20(Neowin%20Edition)%202.5.1.exe Its only 460KB. Once you run it, it patches the theme-related file in Windows that is used to determine if its a Microsoft theme, or a non-Microsoft theme. This DOES cause a Windows File Protection error when you do this, but its only the one time. Once this is done, you can use any non-standard theme in Windows, without needing to waste tons of RAM with third party programs, its all done in Windows as if you were using a standard theme. Enjoy!

That connections actually fast for Australia... So many people I know around there think that 256K / 64K / 2 gigs a month is a fast connection, I wouldnt know what to do on that lol

Cox has a monthly bandwidth limit of like 30 gigs down and 7 gigs up... and like 2 a day... Thats what I have against them... Internet should always be unlimited if you pay for 'unlimited'. I like to use my whole 3.0 / 768K to its fullest with Verizon, and know that I wont get a letter saying I used 160 gigs of bandwidth and Im abusing the network.
