  2. I just noticed that! Seems like their is always over 300 people on at all times. Way to go CA3LE!!!!!!!!! We all appreciate everything you do!
  3. New Update. Was on 2048/1024. After a lot of complaining to ISP they bumped me to 2568 down. Found out upload was capped at 868 or 898. Still paying $101.00 per month for 2568/898. :::.. 4. My isp just called they bumbed my down load to 2568 for know additional charge. Now I am back to tweaking.
  5. When I had Direcway, email very seldomed work with outlook. I always used the web site to access email. It always worked fine late at night never during the day.
  6. Only one available. I would just like to know what it means.
  7. I just got off the phone with my isp. I am trying to get them to open my line a little more so I can get closer to my cap. He told me that their are 6 other customers on my card?? that are on 256/128 packages and if they open my line anymore it might effect those other customers. What does that mean??? I offered to buy my own card, he told me it was about $2000.00. So if anyone knows the answer please reply. .
  8. I can only dream of those kind of speeds! Very nice though!!!
  9. All I know is that my speeds are all over the place.nothing stable. A lot more hesitation in loading pages . I have tweaked to the breaking point , and still cannot get back what I had. It was the same all day yesterday and so far today erratic speeds. For some reason it is just not working here. I know the signal strength is good, the last test they did here my line was good for 7 meg down and a meg up. I know the fiber optic lines that run in front of my home are less than three years old. The wire coming into the home for DSL is 24 gauge. So maybe my modem is not synced being on fastpath. I
  10. I called my isp today to switch me to fastpath. I have a 2048/1024 package through my ISP. When I was on interleave I averaged around 1.7 down and 0.7 up speeds. all the time. Actually hit my above my cap a few times on up and down. Today after switching to fastpath my speeds dropped, came back up but are not consistent at all. They vary from site to site. Van and I tried to get it back but to no avail. So I will be switching back to interleave tomorrow, may not have a real good ping to my first hop but at least my connection will be stable. So the moral of the story. Sometimes you just need to leave things where their at. Anyone else have these kind of problems before switching from interleave to fastpath???
  11. I emailed my ISP I am going to have them put me back on interleave instead of fastpath. When I was on interleave at least my up and down speeds were consistent. Not back and forth. I can live with the higher ping time. Thank for all the help.
  12. I finally got it back up to where it ws before they switched me to fastpath. I was hoping for a little more bump in speed, but I guess the ping do not effect it so much. I am going to call ISP tomorrow and see if they bumped my speed down to 1.5/768.. I will let you know!
  13. I have been messing with the numbers nad still cannot get back to what I had before they switched me to fastpath. I normally averaged 1.7 down and at least 740 up. Now I am getting 1.3, 1.2, 1.4 on download. My uploads are around 700. I guess it is safe to assume that the first hop really don't matter . I will keep trying!!
  14. I figured when my isp changed to fastapath I would gain a little not lose a little. I will keep adjusting maybe I can get it back up to where it was.
