UPDATE! ~ gpedit.msc (Group Policy) - Used the program to remove the 20% reserved bandwidth of the computer. May 20% na bandwidth na nakareserve ang computer para sa sarili niya. Maybe para po ito sa Automatic Updates, na dapat ikaw ang nakikinabang nito. a few information about my self and my pc: of course, a Full Blooded Filipino... "Pinoy ata to" 3rd year college student... Living on the outer part of Baguio City. 18 yrs. old Has a SmartBro internet connection... Has a Windows XP SP2, 1GB Ram, GeCube Radeon X1550 video card desktop PC... that all i can think of right now...

My father just change the settings without letting me know Now we both can't access canopy (169.254.1.1) He said he only changed the setting DCHP to enabled in the canopy page and Rebooted. Good thing is we did not get disconnected from the internet the only problem is that we can't access canopy. All your help will be appreciated.

What does it mean when the technicians of smartbro says you have low power? They are advising me to add another 10ft pole to my existing 20ft pole. that would be another 680 pesos for them. Are there other ways I could increase my power? This could lessen the request timed outs I keep getting. thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong because only way I would know is from reading about smartbro , not using it, but the specific MAC address of the machine connected to the smart network, must be coded into the base station, and this can only be done by a smartbro tech / installer. I've seen this same question several times before. And my thoughts are you'll need to get in touch with them.

Gud evening folks... I have an OLD CANOPY WITH 7MBPS AGGREGATE unfortunately i have reset and set to factory defaults all the settings. So i'm wondering if anyone who has the info for proper settings to reconnect to smartbro. I have already configure the canopy base on my canopy lite with 1mbps aggregate the proper color code in our area. I can get AP and can connect (sometimes giving an ip address of 192.168.XXX,XXX ) to their network but after pinging smartbro default gateway (192.168.224.1) it respond :"Destination host unreachable...". Is this a canopy setting problems? Tnx in advance folk... and good day...

go to smartbro or pldt but not Globe broadband. I subscribed to them and only for one month, the rest of it is flat zero. i called them so many times but their line was flat dead. So finally i went to their office just to find out thier goddamn line was knockout for the entire grid of Luzon.

As far as I know, and I'm no where near qualified to answer this question, they (smartbro) have changed the canopy so you arent' supposed to access it in that manner. The settings in your computers network adapter were from SB during installation. You'll have to get with the call center, tell them nothing other then you lost your connection. due to my curiosity at my canopy settings, i've set it to default values,, after i reboot,, i can no longer access my canopy page, so i used reset plug,, my problem now is when i finally got in my canopy page,, everything there was clear..,, even my site name, site location, site contact was cleared. (i think there is something wrong with my nat setting or the radio) and i can no longer access even the smartbro portal.,, anyone there who can help me with these matters..???? thanks....

if i experienced this great speed for almost 2 weeks, then there's a way to really have speed up to 6mbps using SmartBro...hhmmm calling all SmartBro techies there...yooohooo..
