hurricane_floyd Posted January 20, 2006 Author CID Share Posted January 20, 2006 i herd it auto stops when your share ratio is 150% then you have to force start the torrrent Actually uTorrent can be configured to Seed for ANY share ratio. Bird Fan Posted January 21, 2006 CID Share Posted January 21, 2006 I installed it and got it working last night. It doesn't work too bad with Dway. A lot faster than BitTornado.

asubaseball727 Posted January 26, 2006 CID Share Posted January 26, 2006 Well if you have forwarded ports on the router, just go to the settings and pick one of the ports you forwarded.

asubaseball727 Posted January 27, 2006 CID Share Posted January 27, 2006 haha, I don't think torrents prefer computers. Have you tried other torrent Downloaders? uTorrent has been shaky for me... Sometimes i get 311 kbps other times like .1... I dont know what else to say.

RTB Posted January 27, 2006 CID Share Posted January 27, 2006 Then it's problably your ISP throttling BitTorrent. Those measures are getting more common among ISPs.
Raistlin666 Posted January 27, 2006 CID Share Posted January 27, 2006 OK, OK, I give What's a torrent What's a bitorrent What do they do Why would I need one Since no one has answered your ques. (in this topic at least) i will take it upon myself to educate my new tomodachi. Just call me Oni-Chan Ahem* BitTorrent is made for transferring files. It is peer-to-peer in , as users connect to each other directly to send and receive portions of the file. There is a central server (a tracker) which coordinates the action of all such peers. The tracker only manages connections, it does not have any knowledge of the contents of the files being distributed, and thus a substantial number of users can be supported with relatively limited tracker bandwidth. Bittorents are used in a language of "python". Python is an interpreted, interactive, object-oriented programming language, Usually compared to "Java" or as i call the pac-man of ones connection. just gobbles it up i tell ya. Anyway, it is very universal, like Latin except without the dead part. name your OS, theres a great chance it will support it. lets see... Covered what, why... i thinks thats it Theres more detailed stuff i could go into, but thats only after you start. telling you now would just get confusing. I'm 98.96% sure this is all correct.
