Dark_Matter Posted March 6, 2006 CID Share Posted March 6, 2006 Things will probably be alot easier for you to deal with in an X session. Myself i hate GUI's. I can't live without shell access it's all i need.

wyantm06 Posted March 6, 2006 Author CID Share Posted March 6, 2006 Wow I love Ubuntu. I guess I will not be installing it on my new Computer though. I can't play The Sims 2 on Linux, no being able to play games on Linux made me change my mind.
php Posted March 6, 2006 CID Share Posted March 6, 2006 Plenty of games to play... just not Windows games. Linux is geared much more towards productivity than games though IMO

wyantm06 Posted March 8, 2006 Author CID Share Posted March 8, 2006 Ok I think I am going to dual boot for the heck of it. But yeah if I like Linux more and decide to get rid of Windows do I have to format my HDD to get rid of it and start over reinstalling Linux? Or can I choose to uninstall windows? If I uninstall windows I need to keep a folder with everything I downloaded. So can someone answer this? Thanks
