wyantm06 Posted March 7, 2006 CID Share Posted March 7, 2006 Ok say I have like Trillian, some Torrents, and other things going on my PC. Is there a way I can password lock everything while it is still doing what it is doing? I want to password lock the screen when I am not home so no one messes with my things. I am sure you all understand.
Ryan314 Posted March 7, 2006 CID Share Posted March 7, 2006 I definately understand where your coming from.. umm i think windows xp pro allows you to lock all folders with a password.. not too sure if u can lock a program though? wait for another testmy.net user to reply..im not too sure
wyantm06 Posted March 7, 2006 Author CID Share Posted March 7, 2006 Yeah I want to know if there is a feature like on Linux where you can click lock screen and still have everything running. Like I still want my Torrents downloading and Trillian on away while having the screen be locked so they can't mess with anything.

wyantm06 Posted March 7, 2006 Author CID Share Posted March 7, 2006 Good find. I was also wondering if this would just work. http://www.hofstra.edu/StudentServ/CC/Chelp/chelp_password_protect.cfm If I set my screen saver to 1 min and have it password. I wonder if it leaves things running though?
