dlewis23 Posted March 10, 2006 CID Share Posted March 10, 2006 OK the specs for this are sick. http://bfgtech.com/7900GTX_512_PCIX.html 670MHz Core 1640MHz memory 24 pixel piplines 1440 million vertices/sec. 52.4GB/second memory bandwidth prices from $499-$599 and for the low budget card they now have a 7600GT http://bfgtech.com/7600GT_256_PCIX.html

Dilatedpeoples28 Posted March 10, 2006 CID Share Posted March 10, 2006 look at any of the reviews, the 7900gtx is basically even with the 1900XTX, getting higher in a couple of games. Not worth the money at this point. Im gonna wait till the series 8 cards with dx10 are out, as those will have significant performance gains. sean5900xt Posted March 11, 2006 CID Share Posted March 11, 2006 I agree it would probably be best to wait for a card with DX10 support before spending money like that.
