FaT_PHiL Posted March 12, 2006 CID Share Posted March 12, 2006 if you have a good enough microphone you can use sound recorder. Start>Programs>Accessories>Entertainment.. Then you can download this.. http://www.dbpoweramp.com/bin/dMC-r11.5.exe Its a good program that converts music files to any format and bitrate And finally this program.. http://www.simtel.net/product.download.mirrors.php?id=59197 This program will take your music file and you can tweak the way it sounds by changing the bass, volume and TONS of other options as for a good free vocal recording program im not too sure, but with the use of these program with sound recorder im sure you'll get good results
dn0 Posted March 12, 2006 CID Share Posted March 12, 2006 Another member here recommended Audacity a while back and I downloaded it. Many usefull recording options with it, and it's FREE.. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Give it a shot, I use it to record from a Mic and from the web (like a certain radio show on the AM that I like to listen to, but it sounds better on the web).
