FallowEarth Posted April 11, 2006 CID Share Posted April 11, 2006 I found this...it is a chapter from The TCP/IP Guide by Charles Kozierok. I thought it would help people to better understand how TCP works, and how programs like Cablenut work. http://www.nostarch.com/download/tcpip_ch46.pdf

FallowEarth Posted April 13, 2006 Author CID Share Posted April 13, 2006 Thanks FallowEarth and richcornucopia. That is some good info. I should reading, I should print it (since I am a novice)and put it in the crapper. I would have sometime for it then. LOL Awesome post man, this takes me back to the networking class's i took.. time to relearn the OSI model Thx alot The OSI model is not brought up very frequently in most technical implementations. It is however good to learn to help you understand the concept of the levels of protocols, and their integration with media and applications and such.
