Shug7272 Posted April 20, 2006 CID Share Posted April 20, 2006 There is a way around that but it is illegal and cant be discussed here. If it is a legit copy you can probably call MS and report the problem, otherwise you are just screwed unfortunantly. They do this prevent online trade of windows and once Windows has been registered so many times on different hardware it will block it. Hope you find a way around it. If it is Windows XP home you are entitled to put it on all computers you own from what I understand, if it is Pro they can kinda screw you there. They gouged us at my place of work. Yeah.. you are going to need another licence.. 1.1 Installation and use. You may install, use, access, display and run one copy of the Software on a single computer, such as a workstation, terminal or other device ("Workstation Computer"). The Software may not be used by more than one processor at any one time on any single Workstation Computer. You can try calling them.. but I doubt they are going to do much..
