Everytime I try downloading a file, it works for a while, and stops in the middle and my whole internet just stops working. The lights on the modem are all still online though =S anyone know what the problem is? To check out the possibility of it being the router or not? Also have you eliminated the possibility of spyware and such? The rest of that link. I had a bad router that would do that...It would work fine most of the time, but would lock up during longer downloads.. If you can, test your internet without the router, and see if there is a difference. Try the largest download speed test here and see if you have the same problem getting the test file from testmy then report results. Also, clear your temporary internet files and cookies (ignore this if someone already suggested this...) And I have downloaded the spyware program and updating it so I can use it. It takes a while.
