You are not uncapped...no modem is "uncapped", You have just been given a better performance tier (or bin). Enjoy your new faster speeds nonetheless.... That's awesome. The only thing that I wouldn't like is there is no definite speed. The speeds vary.

Swimmer Posted November 6, 2006 CID Share Posted November 6, 2006 that is an interesting little diddy.. Have you seen an slow down like under heavy usage periods? The entire point of the caps is to keep bandwidth usage under check and to make sure that there is enough on each node.. I will have to check it out the next time i am at home.. tommie gorman Posted November 7, 2006 CID Share Posted November 7, 2006 Why not try the TCP Optimizer and go all the way up the speed bar. It might be interesting.

tommie gorman Posted November 8, 2006 CID Share Posted November 8, 2006 ive never used it is user friendly? it would be interesting to see what coax will do.. It is too simple. Just set it for Optimal and reboot and run. No ccs files to figure out. Just different settings on a slide bar. It works better for me than cablenut on satelite. I get much better speeds with it. You usually just set a little faster than your cap, but since you have no cap. Open her up and play. *ZOOM ZOOM* You get that little critter same place as cablenut. But here is the link anyway. They really should put it in the title with the cablenut. [VanBuren testmy.net Cablenut settings] Maybe one of the mods will see this and change it for us. https://www.speedguide.net/
