laskie Posted January 21, 2007 CID Share Posted January 21, 2007 Download speed tests are running in the normal amount of time, but it then takes FOREVER for the results page to come up (several times my connection has timed-out before I got the results). Anyone else seeing this?

laskie Posted January 23, 2007 Author CID Share Posted January 23, 2007 My original post was from Sunday morning. By Monday morning, everything was back to normal. I made no changes at all on my end. Something was screwy, but it's fine now!
paladin Posted January 24, 2007 CID Share Posted January 24, 2007   I am still only getting the first window, same setup as normal. I also tried it with my firewall off and got the same results. :tickedoff:
tommie gorman Posted January 24, 2007 CID Share Posted January 24, 2007 Are you using the smart test paladin. I don't and I just went through like a breeze on the 2992 test file. Try testing with a particular file size instead. It might help.

tommie gorman Posted January 24, 2007 CID Share Posted January 24, 2007 I just figured if it was putting you up a page you might be using it. So why not try a larger file then? Just trying to help.

tommie gorman Posted January 24, 2007 CID Share Posted January 24, 2007 I don't check often either. If you want I have the 5983 test if you want to use it for now. You will have to clean out your temp files before clicking on it, as it takes you directly into the test. http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/d_load.php?ni=1&tt=1&s=5983&st=st Hope it helps til they fix it for you. paladin Posted April 4, 2007 CID Share Posted April 4, 2007 It would be nice if the person that fixed the speed test on Jan. 24, 2007 would fix the test again. I have been having the same ole problem since the first week in March. I PM"d CA3LE and he replied and I replied, but nothing has been done nor an answer. I don't understand what is going on with this deal.

mogramjo Posted April 13, 2007 CID Share Posted April 13, 2007 Hi Paladin, I'm just 'checking in' here. Not as intensely active here as I was for awhile...sorry you're having probs with the speed test! I'd try it but then again...ya can't push a rope. Since I have Cox Cable HSI I generally check first at their Las Vegas site, which for me, is rather close...may not be helpful to you however. Good, quick and usually reliable. http://test.lvcm.com/ Don't y'all rush and cause a DOS. See soon!!! 'mo'
