starship_troopers Posted March 20, 2007 CID Share Posted March 20, 2007 already did that. i doesn't malfunction every second more like every 3-4 hours or so. i know what you mean. except mine is a laser mouse not ball. every once in a while my mouse will just randomly streak across the screen or not work untill i unplug it and plug it back in. i think its the mouse cable. maybe a short in it? try a new mouse if you have one
ballista Posted March 20, 2007 CID Share Posted March 20, 2007 I've had similar problems and I would say update the drivers/firmware of the mouse. It fixed my issues.
