porsche6714 Posted April 2, 2007 CID Share Posted April 2, 2007 I'm still waiting for TW to switch me over to their service from adelphia. Were coming up on almost a year and still no official switch. I live near Buffalo, NY and pay $60 bucks for crappy 4000/384. It pains me to look at every else on TW getting such high speeds

TheHalf Posted April 3, 2007 CID Share Posted April 3, 2007 I'm also a Buffalo resident and was hoping that Adelphia (back then) was going to roll-out their Extreme Tier here, unfortunately they never did. I'm still on the Adelphia domain name with the 6000768 pkg. and admit I am over cap, however a 150002000 pkg from TWC would be nice...if not I just hope FiOS rolls out here soon. :::.. testmy.net test results ..::: Download Connection is:: 6971 Kbps about 6.97 Mbps (tested with 5983 kB) Download Speed is:: 851 kB/s Upload Connection is:: 854 Kbps about 0.9 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB) Upload Speed is:: 104 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 1) Test Time:: 2007/04/03 - 1:16pm D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-FE0CDVNAL U-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-XTB7FC8E1 User Agent:: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 [!] TheHalf

Didn't believe ti would do that...now a believer. Also VERISON changed me from a DLINK router to an ACTIONTEC M1424WR plus my change of cables.....prior to that I was having all kinds of problems with VONAGE.... that's all behind me now (hopefully). I am in Dallas / Fort Worth area.
