compuguybna Posted July 12, 2009 CID Share Posted July 12, 2009 Well, I just posted this, but it didn't take. Crap, I hate re-typing posts. Has anyone ever heard of ACCEL NETWORKS? The offer FIXED wireless broadband. Its a regular modem called a "raven x". Has an ethernet port. An antenna plugs into a coax port on the back. They offer TRULY UNLIMITED wireless access thru Verizon's network (not capped like their 5gb plan). but its $129.00 a month! I have the UM175 from millenicom using the Verizon card and their service. They CLAIM there is no CAP (not until you use 6gb, supposedly some members have gotten an email about this) I'm at 2gb by nights end 7/12! Im wondering if ACCEL's product and fee is worth it (unlimited), or whether I should stay with millenicom and see how the first month goes with my usage.......(even then 2 UM175's would yeild 10gb usage @ 120........ or unlimited on ACCEL's $129...... ANYONE USED ACCEL????? ANYONE USED MILLENICOM and went over their "invisible cap"?????? THANKS!

And I know I've gone way over often ........ probably monthly. Make sure you read the fine print. Unlimited is not 'always' what you think. And that is stiff for my blood. Fo now I'll stay at $60. And if they did charge me the extra $70 would buy quite a bit of bandwidth. Just my thoughts of course.
