Nope we switched from Dial up to Clearwire i also have a weak signal.

i had high speed verizon <-- maybe i should go back ?

I'm not sure what Clearwire is but since you mentioned a weak signal I'm guessing a WISP and the weak signal definitely is a factor.

As for Verizon  I would have nothing to do with them just as they did me while I was their  customer.

Your connection is: 181 Kbps or 0.2 Mbps

You uploaded at: 22 kB/s

You are running: 3 times faster than 56K and can upload 1 megabyte in 46.55 second(s)

Diagnosis ^info^: Awesome! 20% + : 31.16 % faster than the average for host (clearwire-dns.net)

This was tested from a 386 kB file and took 17.497 seconds to complete

I ran a test after i disabled add ons on my Interent Explorer.

And now it says awesome?

First... You think you've got it bad?

Download Connection is:: 317 Kbps about 0.32 Mbps (tested with 386 kB)

And I've tried everything I can think of or find on this and about four other web sites related to internet speed boosting. Nothing seems to help.

Second... do you understand the difference between 'upload' and 'download' Clearwire's maximum speed is 1.5 Mbps for download... but only 256 kbps upload. Therefore, you should be able to receive stuff at a decent (not great) speed, but anything you try to send to someone else (or to the internet in general) will go only 4 times the speed of dial-up... at most... under perfect conditions.

Oh, and just in case you're wondering, those numbers listed above were with 4 (out of 5) lights on the signal indicator.
