ValVictus Posted November 3, 2007 CID Share Posted November 3, 2007 For some reason, my computer is terribly slow. Upon comparing with my roommate, we decided that it couldn't be my hardware, since my computer is newer than his. Also, since we're both on the same college network, it isn't just the network's fault. For some reason, his computer hardly seems to ever have to load much, can torrent much faster than mine, and can watch Youtube videos without giving the videos a 10 minute buffer. Something is seriously wrong with my computer. Help please.
ValVictus Posted November 3, 2007 Author CID Share Posted November 3, 2007 I heard there was a possibility of me overclocking my system. Would this help?

starship_troopers Posted November 3, 2007 CID Share Posted November 3, 2007 first try cleaning out your system and scanning it...formatting is more or less a last option. and overclocking your system may speed it up a little but most likely wont help your problem enough to actually be worth it.
