nullsta Posted December 11, 2007 CID Share Posted December 11, 2007 hows that look? That looks like a great deal. I read through some of the reviews up there at Best Buy and one of them said that this set was actually made by Toshiba. We've had a Toshiba 42" HD LCD for over a year now that we love. nullsta Posted December 11, 2007 CID Share Posted December 11, 2007 You shur? To my knowledge Insignia is made by LG, and rumors that zeneth bought out LG No, I'm not sure at all. It's just what this guy named Toasty said in his 11/05/2007 review up at the Best Buy site: [tt]"At the risk of jinxing myself...I love the TV so far. $399 is a great deal. I was going to buy a cheaper tube TV but at the last second the wife and I noticed this TV...glad I checked one last time. Your not going to get a 26" TV at this price. The salesperson told me it was made by Toshiba...I guess that is supposed to be a good thing. Ha Ha. Solid solid picture." [/tt]

I think my 42 inch LCD pulls 265 watts I think, but it gives off some heat. I can almost use it for my heater for my living room
