tbaker397 Posted June 14, 2005 CID Share Posted June 14, 2005 you def. need to upgrade to a higher package, because 256/64 is rather slow for cable, but for some people, thats all they need....

tbaker397 Posted June 14, 2005 CID Share Posted June 14, 2005 my one friend has a wireless 256k connection, he says its completely reliable and has great pings and he plays WoW and Guild Wars with no problems, but downloading stuff is a hassle, so speed isnt everything.... That's very true. Reliability and consistency in an internet service goes a long way. That is definitely a huge factor for me anyway. tbaker397 Posted June 14, 2005 CID Share Posted June 14, 2005 i try and look for both, my pings are decent, ping to google i get around 40ms, could be better but it causes no real hassle playing online games with my friends and being able to download at 500+ kb/s is a plus
