SeanNeumann Posted July 28, 2011 CID Share Posted July 28, 2011 Hi to all! I was hoping I could get some user based help, as my ISP is saying there is no problem. I am currently on a 60 / 5 plan, however, I can only actually receive that speed from servers that there are not many hops to. Now I know there will be some overhead lost, but I am seeing 60/5 go down to, at its worst 5/1. I will usually hover in the 30 - 45 down range, and 1.5 - 3.5 up range. Hardware I had was a sb6120 modem, just recently replaced with cisco dpc3010. My router is the netgear wndr3700, running the latest firmware. Any help would be much appreciated! TriRan Posted August 5, 2011 CID Share Posted August 5, 2011 I had the same issue with my 50/5 service with that cisco modem it was forced on me by the isp to troubleshoot modem issues I couldn't break 25 down when I switched back to my sb6120 and instantly got 55 down to this site, with the cisco modem it showed I was getting 60 down local only
