Building my own testmy.net server

I was following the instructions to build my own server, but when I try to download

testmynet-speedtest-update.tar.gz

 it doesn't exist at the URL

wget http://testmy.net/tmn/testmynet-speedtest-update.tar.gz

does anyone know where I can get this?

Thanks,  the server is going on an isolated network, so it needs to be standalone.

I see, maybe setup an iperf server

iperf is excellent for this.

 

In the future the ability to host your own TMN speed test will return in a new, easier to install form.

Thanks for the iperf pointers.  However my user base is not the command line type.  So I am still searching for the

testmynet-speedtest-update.tar.gz file.   Testmy.net works great and is exactly what my users want.

I believe as well, there was an authentication process / access ect involved, which is no longer viable.

 

However as CA3LE stated something is coming down the pipe at some point along these lines.
