BTW I currently have the $55 a month plan I think it is, up to 6Mbps down and up to 768Kbps. I did use cablenut though. The ccs file came from http://www.j79zlr.com/cablenutXP2k.php that I found in another link on this site. Has anyone else experianced issues with comcast lately, or is it maybe just up in the spokane, wa area or just 2 people on different sides of the city having similar problems? Also, when I upgraded from the "up to 4Mbps" connection, a tech guy refered me to www.2wire.com to check connection speed, which worked fine at the time. But last week it rated me at barely over 56K connection speed, and earlier tonight at 507Kbps connection which brought up my question above. A friend of mine was experiancing the same problem too. And he is on the other side of the city. ixnayspyder Posted July 4, 2005 CID Share Posted July 4, 2005 Have you tried to contact Comcast and ask them what could be wrong with your download? I haven't but I really think I should since the same thing has been happening to me for over a few weeks. Then again my house does have a lot of things connected to cable service. 6 rooms with cable 3 of which have digital cable, and my internet which has a splitter (split for digital cable and for internet) but my download was still pretty decent until recently. But it was over 5Mbps until recently. Now I am lucky if I reach half of the 6Mbps
