just- Posted May 17, 2005 CID Share Posted May 17, 2005 hi there people of testmy.net i have been using this java client that connects to IRC networks its called http://www.pjirc.com/main.php its some how diff from the chat room i think s1 had since you dont need to register it is also very very known in the internet IRC programs like MIRC this is just a java one for website of IRC i have used in a couple of websites and its very neat, cable would need to set up a network or anything like that we just needed to choose a network like undernet or dalnet or efnet and make a channel #testmynet in one of those channel when a use click on the chat on the top menu bar he needs to accept a java something and he will be redirected to that room very litle of the user has to do which makes it more appealing then the previous once since u had to register maybe we should give it a 2nd try to the chat ideo cabl3 what do u guys thing? php Posted May 17, 2005 CID Share Posted May 17, 2005 i've had a chatroom set up for a while... the link is in my sig... the only reason people are required to register is to prevent abuse, I can change that if people want...
xs1 Posted May 17, 2005 CID Share Posted May 17, 2005 People wanted a chatroom, we put one up. Some liked it, but it was mainly empty. Some didnt like it and came in and started trouble.. Some people would rather have an irc interface... but .. i dont know. Would eb a shame to have to set it up and config it and whatnot.. just for it to be empty 24/7, like i did.
