LaunchCast on Yahoo Music using Firefox

Recommended Posts

I used to goto http://music.yahoo.com/ and listen to music. It pops up a browser and you can stream music. Ever since I switched to Firefox I can't play music. The window pops up like normal but now it says...

Error

Sorry, we do not support Netscape on the Windows platform.

Error Code: 25 - 0

Is there a plugin or something I can use to listen to music on FF?

I not having any problems with lauchcast or  yahoo's music engine for Firefox.bananallama.gif

I have my mp3 players console as a tool bar at the bottom of all my tabs. So when through d/ling yahoo's great "free" music it just puts the play list in my player and I do nothing but listen to the music :evil6:

I'm running FF 1.0.4 and get the same message. I don't think FF is compatible with Y!mucic yet.

Browser requirements

LAUNCHcast is currently compatible only with Internet Explorer 5.x and 6.x for Windows based PCs and Netscape 4.5 to 4.79 on the Macintosh OS.

If you are experiencing difficulties utilizing our service with any other browser application, we recommend trying the above versions to correct the issue.

FYI:

Found a couple of fixes for the ActiveX in FireFox, which is why it won't work.

Don't have time to try it on my end right now (mine doesn't work either), but maybe you want to check these links out.
