As far as speeds go they offered three packages in my area, they are as follows. 1. 5MB Down / 2MB Up - $39.95 without phone service $34.95 With phone service 2. 15MB Down / 2MB Up - $49.95 without phone service $44.95 with phone service 3. 30MB Down / 5MB Up - $199.95 without phone service $179.95 with phone service I went with the 2nd option with a qualifying phone package which was actually cheaper then the phone package that I already had through Verizon! I was on Comast and getting about 4MB down / 780K up and I was paying about $49.95 + $2 a month for the modem! On Fios there is NO modem and thus no charge for extra equipment. Of course the installation was free and the first month of service is free as well! I'm keeping my Comcast service for another week just in case.
