Swimmer Posted August 27, 2004 CID Share Posted August 27, 2004 It should be... You might have to download the plugin... The MSN Games by Zone.com website and free online games work best with Internet Explorer 5.0 or later (Download here) Macromedia Flash 6 or later (Download here) Windows 98 or later You may not be able to take advantage of all zone.com features with your current configuration. For the best experience, we recommend upgrading your system to the latest versions of the above software. You can try it and if it doesnt work... You are out of luck... Shug7272 Posted August 27, 2004 Author CID Share Posted August 27, 2004 Yea I read you have to DL plug ins, but cant find em. MS said a while back that they fixed this problem with the Zone but that seems to be a little bit of an understatement. Thanks anyhow. netmasta Posted January 6, 2005 CID Share Posted January 6, 2005 Sorry to bring up an old topic. [glow=red,2,300]DAMN YOU MICROSOFT![/glow] (note: glow text not working) I tried zone.com today and the games won't download. I get the following message: "Sorry, we were unable to install your game. Follow the instructions below. If you still have difficulties, click here to try to install again. " I clicked, got that same message, so I clicked it again and got this: "Sorry, we were unable to install your game. Click here for more help." After putting out XP SP2 M$ upgraded zone.com Now It seems like (at least to me) that you have to use IE in order to use the site.In their min. requirements only IE is listed. Does anyone know any way around this, or should I just slowly switch from M$ products to something better? I would have probably switched completely already, but you know, compatibity. netmasta Posted January 7, 2005 CID Share Posted January 7, 2005 One good thing though is that you can find some of the games at other sites. E.g: Jeopardy, Zuma etc.
