Why is IE have what seems to be a faster cache? I even tweaked firefox to be faster which seems to work on browsing from page to page but not overall speed!

umm.. i think you have the test cached.. or you on the FIOS with the 30mb connection

Read carefully, he did it intentially.

You just have to retest over and over again, the results can be random.

You're using a crap server to do your testing on.  Try one of the following servers.

I also tried that Mondo server and it said that my upload was faster then my download and I'm on 15/2 Fios.  860Kbps down and 1200Kbps up.  I would conclude that my original statment stands.  This is a CRAP bandwidth test.

Oh please.  I think I can fairly accurately figure out what my connection speed is by simply running a test server that I know to be close to my location (least amount of hops) and that has proven to be accurate among many users.  That just happens to be Testmy.net
