raptors892004 Posted September 12, 2005 CID Share Posted September 12, 2005 Did you go to their websites to see if there's anything useful on set up for their routers? Here is the User Manual section for their F5D7230-4 802.11g-Compliant Firmware update - North America (No Parental Control redirect) stuff.. Hope that's the make of your router.. Here is the router main page.. On the side there are different categories such as FAQ, Knowledge Database and such.. EDIT: Did you have this problem before as well, or did it appear just now? lorne Posted September 13, 2005 CID Share Posted September 13, 2005 Lag in games is usually caused by a high ping to the server. Different games require different ping times. Ping the server and see what your return is and see if you are losing any packets

Dilatedpeoples28 Posted October 8, 2005 CID Share Posted October 8, 2005 r u testing over ur wireless connection? and also what is the model number of ur router, because i kno with the belkin Pre-n routers, They have a feature within their firewall that is not configurable, and it flags multiple incoming UDP packets as being a "flood", and starts dropping them. I have the Pre- N router and when i would play on xbox live over wireless i would get nothing but lag. So i just put it into access point mode, so its just like a wireless hub. Lag went away.
