GIXXERGUY6 Posted December 6, 2005 CID Share Posted December 6, 2005 my stats at work are 60Mbps download and 30Mbps upload can't find a site fast enough to really test it, testmy isn't fast enough in the evenings when I work so I can't get a good result from them, I tried the NDT servers and they consistently say "The slowest end is a 100Mbps subnet" (which I know its talking about me!) and that is from duke.edu http://nitro.ucsc.edu TRY http://speedtest.adelphia.net/ http://us.mcafee.com/root/speedometer.asp Just a thought. cyberbeing Posted December 11, 2005 CID Share Posted December 11, 2005 Nah, I can't beat it but I can match it with about 20-22 Mbps download and 23-25 Mbps upload (depending on network conditions). How is your upload speed sportcentermania?
Dark_Matter Posted December 12, 2005 CID Share Posted December 12, 2005 Yeah i think we got quite a few people bullsh*tting us here. All the sudden the whole world has 20 Mbps connections, and higher (BS). Alot of people hitting the back button is what i think.
Dark_Matter Posted December 12, 2005 CID Share Posted December 12, 2005 WOW that was hard!!!! just hit the back button now i'm elite like everyone else ehh? Sorry, your score of 65356 Kbps is over TestMy.net's max of 60000 Kbps. I doubt your connection is faster than 60000 Kbps... Please RETEST Some firewalls may need to be taken down for TestMy.net to work. After the firewall is taken down your browser may need to be restarted also. Clicking the back button repeatedly in your browser often is the cause of this error, please refrain from using your browsers back button if you get this error often. If you still have problems please try testing with flat-file testing
cyberbeing Posted December 12, 2005 CID Share Posted December 12, 2005 I agree with you Dark Matter but these are my real speeds. My line is dedicated FiOS (FTTH) and rated at 20Mbps/20Mbps but my upload hits 25Mbps. MrBTeachUs Posted December 24, 2005 CID Share Posted December 24, 2005 This is work/school. I am in Wichita Falls, TX. I have an OC3 to the our Fort Worth POP. I am the IT for providing Internet for 40+ school districts in North Texas.. And all the schools are out so there is little to no usage right now.. I was terminal serviced into one of my servers when I ran that test.. Personally at home I have but a mere cable modem.. I have recently moved within a few blocks of my office though and am planning to do a wireless connection when I get the time and permission from my boss! The connection uses Tiagris as our provider who in turn uses Quest as thier backbone. They also have a redundant connection, but I am not sure who that is from..
